Excellent week! We held the first two of our focus groups this week: Bristol undergraduates on Monday and Year 10 GCSE students from Clifton High School on Tuesday. We ran the sessions as discussion groups, taking notes of the free ranging discussion but collecting hard data by using voting software. It was so useful, not only to find out reactions to our plans but also to hear other ideas about what might be included. We should put the data and reports on the website.

On Friday I’m taking part in a workshop at Warwick on innovative teaching and learning spaces organised by the Subject Centre for History, Classics & Archaeology. Several of the presenters are running projects involving virtual space, so should be a very useful day.
